Copic Sketch Marker Sale! Shipping prices changed.

by ^MzzAzn

Still in a huge problem with some unexpected medical bills, so I have to sell my copic markers ;__; I’ll update these as I make more sets later & I’ll update this blog so everyone can see, I’m so tired T.T If people could help spread the word, I’d appreciate it so so so much TTuTT  The markers were hardly used as I only used them for my traditional gallery (which is small ;_; ) and the skin tones I have duplicates (am I’m keeping the ones I used and refilled).

Well, here they are. I hope they make some others happy! Besides some marks from the marker ink there’s nothing wrong with any. These markers are alcohol based and have replaceable nib

Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold by C.S. Lewis

Had to read this for school, and while I typically hate reading things that are ‘forced’ on me, I really enjoyed this story. Definitely recommend it to you if a fan of Lewis and a retelling of a myth. While the original myth is based upon the goddess Psyche, this actually takes more of a focus on one of her sisters, who is named Orual for the books purposes.

Y’know, just… go read it, if it interests you.

arlinesite asked: Hey there - cool blog you got going! Hope you don't mind if I use some of your content later down the road, great stuff. New follower, can you please follow me back?

Feel free; it’ll help the one out who it actually belongs to, hopefully! That’s what my intention is, anyway.

And I can certainly follow you back. <3

One in six American adults is a binge drinker, consuming alcohol in excess about four times a month, according to a sobering CDC report. In the infographic above, you’ll find the percentage of population classified as binge drinkers.

The study — which defines binge drinking as five or more drinks in a short period of time for men and four or more for women — breaks down the nation’s 38 million binge drinkers by a variety of measures, including geography, age and income level. Wisconsin is the state with the most binge drinkers at 25 percent of the population, while Utah, home to the teetotaling Mormon church, comes in last at less than 11 percent.

Cheers.

This is commonly known in Wisconsin. You stay off the streets after… 8 o’clock and ALWAYS during Packer games.

I don’t know why anyone lives here. It’s gotten worse since the Imperial Walker set up shop in Madison. People drink to forget what they voted into Hell.

I’m not sure if I enjoy that South Dakota seems to have no binge drinkers or find it sad that no one seems to have noticed or cared. (Because we certainly do, believe me.)

Interview with: Talty.

Please tell us about yourself.

Hi I’m Talty! I’m a 25 years old and I live in Mexico. I’m a chemist, and I’m about to start my master studies in materials science. I like to describe myself as a girl that likes to play with dough, sometimes it’s edible (food), sometimes it is not (polymer clay miniatures) and sometimes it’s highly toxic (the polymers I synthesize). Oh and I also love cats!

I’ve noticed a lot of your artwork has to do with food. So I was wondering, why do you prefer it?

Food is a really big deal in my family. My mom is the best cook I know, and I remember asking her to teach me how to cook before I even learned to write. It didn’t happen of course, but she did teach me once I grew up. We spend a lot of wonderful times cooking together, and later sharing the food with the rest of my family. So as I said, food is a big deal! So I’ve always felt attracted to all aspects of food, and after I learned that there were people doing miniature versions of food, I had to try it myself. It was too cute and interesting to resist!

Also, I seem to have a clinical inability to do anything else (Me + figurines = failure).

How much time do you commit to one of your art pieces?

That really depends, and most of the times it’s hard to know. I usually work in several projects at once, and I complete the steps in different time periods. I also have the bad habit of experimenting new techniques all the time and over-complicating everything, so that makes for very irregular working times. I hardly ever made something in the same way twice, I’m always changing the way I do everything. A simple charm can take me 10 minutes to finish, but I also work for several days on more complicated pieces (My boyfriend says sometimes up to 70 hours).

Do you admire any artist? And why?

Many!!! I feel a lot of respect and admiration for a lot of artists, and they also inspire me to improve to be worthy enough to show them my work. *chat-noir was the first I saw making food miniatures, so you can blame her for having to deal with me. To name a few, I admire the work of Cindy Teh (~Snowfern), Stella (*thinkpastel), Stéphanie Kilgast (~PetitPlat), Betsy Niederer and (*fairchildart). There’s many more, but I can’t name them all right now.

What are your future plans for your art? Do you see it evolving further?

I want to keep improving. Last year I opened my store and that has really pushed me to get better and learn how to manage a small business. There’s so many things I still want to learn and miniatures I want to make! But I would like to keep it relatively small, college is still my top priority.

In the very far future, I would like to use everything I learn about the craft and materials science to make my own brand of super quality polymer clay. But that’s just a wild (fun and exciting) dream right now.

Do you have any additional information that you would like to share?

I think that this is a very fulfilling activity, and it has helped me in many ways. Creating something with your own hands from scratch is a very powerful gift, and it has made marvels for my self-esteem. So I highly recommend it!

And adopt pets whenever possible, please don’t buy pets, rescuing a pet is the most wonderful feeling and they will always be thankful.

Springtime for Yu Yu Hakusho

Last for the day, promise, but I was surfing tumblr YYH posts, so…

While I don’t know her as well as I desperately wish I did, a good friend has taken so much of her time to put this site together. She’s an amazing writer and overall a fantastic person, and anyone is lucky to know her.

And I sadly still owe her something for said site, but… Mm. I’m going to go hide in my corner, now. 3;

ilu Sekah ; ^;/

I just felt like explaining:

I’ve been tossing around the quote used for the title of this tumblr for awhile. At first it was just something I said in my head to give myself something to think about, but now it’s like whole new, huge concept for me.

People make wishes when they see a shooting star (or falling star), and thus the quote was born. I even used it in a paper I had published a little while back… and the sad thing is, it was better than the paper itself. It’s a shame you can’t just publish a quote and leave it at that.

Or can you? :O

But… I just loved the way it sounded, and I’m actually very glad I could use it in my paper and get it out there. Shame the way it was published is very small and… not visible (?) but hey, that’s why I’m going to try my damnedest to write books and get my words out there! And there, now you know a little about me!

Hoo-RAH! :D

And hi, by the way. Nice to meet anyone who reads this. Ha-ha.

Received a daily deviation. Adorable concept, and I thought it was a great way to start off a tumblr. :3
